The chemical equation balancer now provides solutions to equations with infinite solutions and supports balancing equations that contain ions.

Infinite Solutions
Typically, equations with infinite solutions are those that are actually a combination of more than one reaction. Previously, if you entered an equation such as H2 + O2 = H2O + O2 or C6H5C2H5 + O2 = C6H5OH + CO2 + H2O, you would get an error saying there were infinite solutions but without any solution being provided. Now, we'll provide a sample solution, and try to warn you that there is more than one solution.
